Greetings!

Anyone have an educated viewpoint of the seemingly lesser known type of latex called “Continuous Process”?

Other than being poured onto a conveyor belt instead of a form, what are the other major differences/benefits (quality, cost, feel, etc.) of the Continuous Process latex vs. Talalay or Dunlap (assuming one already knows the major differences between Talalay and Dunlap)?

I’m sorry if this is already a topic. I couldn’t find any related topics.

Everywhere I’ve seen the process termed (so far) it’s been referred to as “Continuous Process” (including the video you reference). But if it is stated incorrectly, thank you for the heads up.

I’m hoping to get a better idea of how/if the process creates a product that is similar or different to Dunlap or Talalay in feel, durability, etc. For example: I know, generally speaking, Talalay is usually softer than Dunlap. But how does the Continuous Process or “Continuous Pour Process” compare in feel, durability…?

Continuous pour and continuous process are just two names for the same thing and the continuous pour process is just a variation of the Dunlop process.

The choice between different types and blends of latex is more of a preference and budget choice rather than a “better/worse” choice and any type or blend of latex is a durable material relative to other types of foam materials. There is more about the different types and blends of latex (including the continuous pour process) in post #6 here and more about how Dunlop compares to Talalay in general in post #7 here but the best way to know which type or blend of latex you tend to prefer will be based on your own testing and/or your own personal experience. .
