Need some more advice. You helped me a lot before purchasing my Jamison talalay mattress.
My daughter is having a baby in February and would like to purchase an organic or chemical free/ non toxic crib mattress . What brand would you recommend? I still live in Mobile, Al but am not sure if there are any local dealers here that sell that type of mattress. I would appreciate any information you may have on any local or online dealers ,

I don’t make specific brand suggestions because the materials in a mattress are much more important than the name of the manufacturer and the type of material or components that each person prefers for their children may be different. Post #2 here though has more information and links to other forum posts about mattresses and children that include some good quality and value sources.
Organic, chemical free, non toxic, and “safe” are all different issues and an organic material isn’t necessarily “safer” than some non organic or even synthetic materials. If you are looking for safer and/or more natural materials though then latex, natural fibers, innersprings, coir, or densified polyester would all be good options (see post #4 here).
I’m not sure if any of the retailers or manufacturers in the Mobile, AL list carry crib mattresses (you would need to call them) but some of the online members here that have some good quality crib mattresses in different types, designs and materials and would be well worth talking to include …
