 I am 210 and in bed alot due to an injury and even more with an upcoming knee surgery. Is the 1.5 lb base foam not enough for me to prevent sagging?

Hi Squeaky,
You are still in a weight range that you will likely be OK because the support layers of a mattress are not usually the weak link of a mattress although if you can comfortably afford a mattress that uses higher quality support foam or that has the option to exchange the firmness of the latex comfort layer if you need to (such as some of the mattresses that are sold by their sister company Brooklyn Bedding) I would certainly consider it because of the length of time that you will likely spend in bed and because it may be a slightly “safer” choice in the longer term.

Thank you for reply! I just spoke with Chuck and it is so hard for a person to guess your comfort level esp with added variables like back aches…etc. My bed is from 2005! A Sealy pillowtop. I hate this beast. Looking fwd to ditching the boxspring! Chuck said the Dreamfoam Eurotop is a better quality bed when I pushed him to tell me his opinion. He didn’t want to come across as pushing the more expensive bed. It is a better bed. I compared the two on their website. What is an extra $300 esp when I will save in chiropractors visit, PT…etc. I just discovered I have a pelvic imbalance due to pronation problems which wreaks havoc with your back. And will keep a knee injury from healing. So…as I head into expensive treatments and possibly a knee surgery…it makes sense to spend the xtra money now. It’s an overall savings. My co-pays run up to $45 and special body work massage is $100! So I am going with the Euro. Probably at a 7 firmness. If u order from Amazon, u must select Ask Chuck to have access to all the levels from 1-10. For instance a 7,9 or 10 is not listed in the Prime options because Amazon does not want to stock all those beds!! Had no idea until I grilled Chuck this. Never read it in any of the reviews either! Thankyou. I hope 7 is not too firm.
