Saturday I ended up purchasing my King size mattress. I purchased a Berkley Ergonomics from Scott Jordan Furniture in Manhattan. I ended up buying it from the store due to the assistance of one of their really great salespeople (Aaron). If I was going to do it online, I was going to choose between Mattresses.net (Arizona Premium) and Brooklyn Bedding. Both sites offered a great deal of assistance and honest information.
Even though I had no knowledge of latex before I joined this forum, I ultimately chose an all latex mattress. This was based on a crazy amount of research that I did here (my GF calls it obsessive) :blink: . Her side has a softer comfort layer then mine.
For now I chose an inexpensive KD slat base, even though I will probably looked to get a better slatted base one day like this. it’s too bad that you need an actual bed for the Ikea Sultan Laxeby
I want to thank Phoenix again for having the only source of unbiased mattress information available. This is more disinformation about mattresses then there is buying used cars.
I will report back on my results.
