DIY Components available in Canada

First of all, thanks for all the great articles and advice here! Very helpful

I am looking for sources of DIY Components available in Canada. I have found Memory Foam Comfort but I am wondering if there are any other sites I should consider. I’m looking for a soft top layer (probably Latex) and a cover right now.

Thanks!

Hey mrs bond,

Welcome to the Mattress Underground  ! Thanks for your question.

Thanks for your kind words regarding the site, happy to hear you’re finding the resources here useful. Congrats on your DIY mattress journey! Thanks too for considering expert trusted member MFC, I know that @Mario would be happy to help with any questions you may have of their products.

Below is a listing of Canadian and US manufacturers/retailers who are trusted member manufacturers/ retailers of the TMU that offer DIY mattresses and ship across Canada who you may wish to consider. They are very seasoned in providing good guidance over the phone and fitting their customers with a suitable product in terms of comfort/support needs.

CBH Wood Furniture: Canadian manufacturer of All-Natural beds.

Arizona Premium Mattress: Phoenix AZ- based manufacturer now offers latex mattresses, latex mattress toppers, latex pillows and the rest of our lineup via standard UPS ground shipping to Canada including Montreal, Toronto, Vancouver and much more.

MFC : Canadian online retailer with a very good selection of latex mattresses and hybrids that close to your budget range.

You can also browse our TMU Trusted Members as there are some US-based companies that provide products to the Canadian market but you’d need to call and check with the current Covid closures. Just for clarity, I don’t make recommendations for stores unless they are a vetted member here of the site. It’s become increasingly difficult to maintain listings of all retailers across geographic regions, as those are constantly changing, and most importantly, the confusion it creates among consumer subscribers who incorrectly assumed that these businesses too had met TMU’s strict qualification process and were approved members of The Mattress Underground. Hope this helps  .

Thanks,
Sensei

Thanks a lot! Looks like MFC is probably still the way to go… unless I decide to get a 3" top layer instead of a 2", then I’d need a 11" cover which MFC doesn’t sell.

I didn’t set out to get fully into the DIY thing but here I am
