DIY help or just need a firm “floor” like mattress all natural

Hey guys I’m looking to make an all natural latex/wool/ organic cotton type set up that is firm enough where my hips don’t sink in at all.

Should I go with a coil based unit, latex base foam support. Or just go with a slab of latex 3-4 inches on a platform/floor! Any recommendations on a full set up top to bottom would be awesome.

I have had 10 mattresses over the last few years and can’t get it right. My girl likes a soft bed and I want a rock hard bed. So the last 2 weeks I just sleep on the floor with a yoga mat and a few blankets. This is better than any bed I have come across so far.

Looking to build a twin xl and just sleep in the corner and she can have the king size bed to herself.

5ft 8 190 “athletic” build strict side sleeper with low pro buckwheat pillow.

You may want to consider a wool mattress with no coils, just a sturdy foundation with slats placed close together, or alternatively, a cotton mattress.

You can always create a king-size bed by combining two Twin XL mattresses, each made to the same height.

For example, you could place a 10" (or whatever thickness she prefers) mattress on her side of the bed, directly on the foundation. On your side, you could use an additional foundation on top of the main foundation, paired with a wool or cotton spring-less mattress that totals the same height.

This setup might offer a good solution for sleeping together while keeping both of you comfortable.
