Does anyone have experience with the Alaskan King mattress?

Thanks for this great forum.
We have two children. For the past three years, we’ve slept in the same big bed (my wife and I and my two children). 4 months ago, we had a big dog, my boys loved it very much. At night, the dog sleeps with us. Now we find that the bed is a little small. It can not hold two adults, two children, and a big dog.
I googled and found a huge mattress that was 108 inches by 108 inches. Some articles name it as Alaskan King mattress ( Alaskan King Mattress: The Ultimate Guide - MattressMozz ). I’ve never seen a mattress this big. Does anyone have experience with it? Or is there any other mattress that can I select?

Hey bradycaa,

Welcome to the Mattress Underground  ! Thanks for your question.

Thanks for the kind words on the site  . Ok bradycaa, an Alaskan King is one seriously large bed. At 108" x 108", it would definitely accommodate the family & fur baby sleeping situation you describe quite comfortably. Besides something super-large in surface, what else is important to you in the mattress construction itself? What bed are you currently sleeping on and what do you like about it? If you could provide a few other personal details of interest, perhaps height, weight, sleeping preferences, etc., that would be helpful. Are you looking for a custom built mattress?

Thanks,
Sensei
