does this mattress have any weak links in terms of the quality/durability?

Hi jonmarrow.

It’s impossible to say with the vague specifications they offer on their website.

They don’t offer foam densities anywhere. If what they listed in 2016 remains true…The Arctic Dreams uses 3 lb density high performance polyfoam in the comfort layer and 1.8 lb density polyfoam in the base layer so there are no lower quality materials or weak links in the mattress that would be a cause for concern in terms of the durability or useful life of the mattress relative to more average weight ranges (lower 200’s or so or less).

You may be able to reach out directly and ask if these specifications are still accurate.

Thank you. Since it only has 3lb PCF, isn’t that bad? since the general recommendation here is for it be at least 4 PCF?

The 4 lb. recommendation is for memory foam, the 3 lb. density referenced is high performance polyfoam which should be of good quality.

thank you. so since this is a memory foam mattress, what is the PCF of this mattress? how do I know for sure its at least 4 PCF?

You’d have to contact the company to ask them directly as NikkiTMU previously suggested.
