We had some confusion regarding discount at the Ogden store for Brooklyn Bedding. The salesperson there didnāt think we could use the code with the current sale and we bought the mattress. But when we got home, I checked the website and had no problem using the code with the sale. I contacted the online customer service and they thought I could cancel the original transaction and pay online instead (Iām trying to avoid paying sales tax right now), but Iāve had a hard time making a connection with the store manager. Iāve left 2 messages, one of those with an employee, over the last few days, but have yet to hear back from him. Weāre liking the bed well enough and I quite like the pillows, but Iām frustrated by the lack of communication from him at this point. The e-mail and the 800 reps have been great, but Iāve got to get things straightened out with the manager before we can proceed. Mostly, Iām posting so others can know that although you canāt use 2 codes at once, if there is a sale that doesnāt require a code (like the one right now), the tmu10 will work with the sale at Brooklyn Beddingās website.

After an e-mail to Mario, the local store owner called me 2 hours later, and I think we are all sorted now. The tmu10 code does work with this sale because the sale doesnāt require a code. The sale goes until Dec. 25. Itās a great time to buy a Brooklyn Bedding mattress.

After much research and shopping around, testing countless mattress brands, settled on the purchase of a Parklane mattress (the āWestoverā) from their store in Vancouver, WA. During the sales process, inquired about the TMU discount/bonus and was informed by a most knowledgeable and helpful sales lady Elizabeth, who stated that just today Parklane changed their TMU discount policy from one of giving out a high tech pillow as a purchase bonus to a straight up 5% discount!

I hate to askā¦ but I noticed Dreamfoam and Brooklyn Bedding are no longer displayed on the āOur Trusted Membersā listing page. Are they no longer TMU members?
Has Pure Crafted Beds closed? Attempting to call the number on the web site results in a āno longer in serviceā message.
If not, does anyone have an alternate number for them?
Not only that, I notice Brooklyn Bedding has been removed from the Simplified Choice mattress thread. Others who are not members have their mattress listed there.
Another thing is that I seem to be able to reply to posts but I am unable to start a new thread. What is up with that?

Before I found The Mattress Underground I was getting very frustrated with all the questionable claims by retailers and just plain useless āreviewsā online.
My wife and I last purchased a mattress, 13 years ago, from a small manufacturer in Seattle and it has held up extremely well. We now live far away from Seattle or else we would have gone straight back to the same place for a new mattress (we need a little more cushioning these days). I was glad to know that there are still independent manufacturers making quality mattresses all over the country.
The articles on your site regarding quality and value as well as PPP make great sense. All the information on this site has been invaluable. Weāve decided to give the Natural Escape from My Green Mattress a try and I will try to remember to post in a few weeks or months to let everyone know what we think of it.

I reached out to Sleeping Organic today to ask for the code. They will be setting up a code for the Mattress Underground (TMU) consumer members. The discount canāt be stacked with other lower promotion, and the discounts offered to consumer members coming from the TMU are equal or higher than any discounts or promotional specials they have on their site or anywhere else. As soon as I receive the code I will post it on the membership listing and update this topic.

I can see the argument for not having specials, I couldnāt find a lower priced latex mattress that I liked, or even at all.
I plan to use PayPal credit since they offer that as a payment option (last year they allowed for 12 months through this method but now itās only 6, probably the only thing that bothers me about paying) but I canāt figure out how to apply the code, should I call them or does the code work only through their regular check out?
