2″ Top Comfort Layer – This layer is 2″ of TrueTufted cashmere blend top cover that provides comfort and the sumptuousness to the mattress. The cover is hand tufted which is something usually found in mattresses costing 3-4x more.
.5″ Cooling Layer – This layer is .5″ of Gel Infused Memory Foam that provides cooling to the top layers of the mattress
1.75″ Comfort Layer – This layer is 1.75″ of soft quilted memory foam designed to provide pressure relief and comfort.
.5″ Response Layer – This layer is .5″ of natural hypoallergenic latex designed to provide bounce and contour.
.25″ Support Layer – This layer is .25″ of DreamPlush supportive memory foam that provides additional body contouring.
.5″ Transition Layer – This layer is .5″ of DreamPlush high density supportive memory foam that works to provide a transition layer between the upper comfort layers and the lower coil support layer.
8″ Support Layer – This layer is 7″ of high quality steel pocketed innerspring coils with a 5-zone layers that provide exceptional support to the body with varying stiffness depending on the zone, giving you support where it is needed most.
1.5″ Base Foundation Layer – This layer is a final 1.5″ of high density super soft memory foam that provides the lower foundation layer to the mattress and deep compression support.

Any thoughts on construction or the feel of that cashmere top?

There are a couple of things that for me seem like red flags.

Particularly the bottom base layer they are claiming this to be a 1.5" super soft memory foam layer. I am a bit skeptical as to whether their description of the mattress matches the reality of what it is actually made of. Partially because not only is it uncommon to use a soft layer underneath springs, but that its basically unheard of to use memory foam under the springs when it would have very little impact on the comfort of the mattress. If they label this memory foam when by all probability it is just standard polyurethane foam of unknown density than I strongly question the make up of the other layers.

The 2" top comfort layer also seems odd, is the fabric cashmere blend, or is it a fibre layer which is cashmere blend? What is the rest of the fibre, and what is the blend percentage?

To me this mattress sounds like a more or less run of the mill comfortable pillowtop mattress that is widely available at most mattress stores. Likely feels great in person, not likely made to last a long time with all of those comfort layers.
