Both of these are good quality materials and since the comfort layers are the weak link of a mattress it would be reasonable to expect more than 5 years from it yes. These are higher quality materials that you would typically find in even a higher end Simmons mattress. The materials in the Brooklyn Bedding mattresses in their price range are one of the reasons I consider them to be among the best quality/value in the country and why they were invited to be a member of this site.
The durability of a mattress though depends as much on the person sleeping on it and their body type and sleeping style as on the materials, construction, or layering in the mattress itself.
