Este Hybrid king coil Ibed

we have been lurking on this site for around the last few days learning about mattresses and we recently went to try some out. We have narrowed it down to liking latex mattresses. We have found it not easy though latex mattresses to sample.

We were able to find a mattress at HOM (Este hybrid king coil) but we can’t find any info on what is inside it. We like this mattress so far the best of what we have tried. From feeling the sides I assume the top is 6” of latex, foam, coils and then foam on the bottom but I can’t be sure or what density. I was curious if anyone had any insight.

We went to OMF and tried Thier serenity latex/foam and it was comparable just not quite as soft.
However they were very knowledgeable and I think the mattress meets all the criteria (8lb foam core, talanay 60/40 mix latex on each side) the price is more. The one thing that we are uncertain about is the 1.5” for impressions. I know the site says warranty’s are not that big of deal but over the last 10 years we have gone through 6 mattress (mattress firm) because of warranty problems and Thiers are always 3/4 of a inch.

If you have any other latex brands or suggestions or even places to try mattresses (we are in MN) I’d appreciate it.

Hi Fosterjtjj.

Welcome to our Mattress Forum.

Is this the mattress you tested, by chance? If so, it looks like it’s a memory foam hybrid.

This trick here is the impression has to be visible just looking at the mattress…and often times, they aren’t. So, the foam breaks down and leaves impressions but it’s hard to catch that in a photo or by just eyeballing the bed.
