Hello! I may have more questions to follow but I’m curious if anyone knows who makes the Ethan Allen mattresses. I’m sure I can probably get the same mattress (or very close) for a lot less money. Thank you!
As of a few years ago Ethan Allen mattresses were being manufactured by Kingsdown, but I’m not sure if they’ve changed suppliers since then. You couldn’t necessarily get exactly the same builds directly from the manufacturer though since such OEM designs can be exclusive and are not necessarily renamed standard models sold under the manufacturer’s own brand name.

Their mattresses have fairly high ratings from what I’m seeing and of course, being Ethan Allen, they are also very expensive…so thought I may save by finding out who manufactures their mattresses. Maybe I’ll take a look at Kingsdown anyway. Do you know much about their mattresses? Thanks again.
Kingsdown tends to focus on plush designs which have a high initial comfort feel but are not exactly known for their durability. Not sure if the EA versions are better in that regard, but EA has a solid reputation at least for their furniture.
