Fan under frame

Fan under bed

Howdy!!!
I’m constructing my own mattress:

  1. Texas Pocket Springs - 8" Quad Coils - 15.5g

  2. Texas Pocket Springs - QuadMini Coils

  3. Sleep on latex Pure Green Natural Latex Mattress Topper 3" soft.

  4. 14" cover (still waiting on receiving)

I also wanna buy a high frame. Like Thuma walnut classic, Keestra or KD nomad frame etc… something with space underneath.

I would like to put my box fan under the bed. I need air on both sides of the fan. My regular fan isn’t going to work. (Lasko wind machine) I’m looking for suggestions of a fan I can put under my bed or a way to mod the fan in order to make this work. Help? (I haven’t bought the bed frame yet)

This will save space, provide white noise, (I don’t like the fan blowing on me) and… theoretically keep the bed cooler. Particularly, with all these added springs. Helping air flow. Think of a cpu fan on a processor. I know there’s bed jet & eight sleep. I don’t wanna get into all the reasons these don’t work for me. And… it’s worth mentioning the joy of discovery. Thank you.

Edit: It looks like the highest under the bed frame I can get is 11.5in. KD Nomad Frame. It looks like a floor fan would work facing up, it’d just need to be under 11.5 inches. There seems to be several online that fit this requirement. Still, any suggestions are appreciated.

This is a long shot, but it seemed interesting enough. Rather than use this fan as it is intended under the sheets, you might be able to simply place it under the bed with the exit exhaust pointing up towards the bed.

I figured the design allows you to sit it on its ‘back’ under the bed, unlike a regular box fan, which you would have to modify to lift it off the ground to secure airflow.
Worth a shot.
