I know this section is for mattresses specifically, but it gets more traffic than the other parts. I’d like to hear from all the members, which pillow specifically is your #1 and why?
Mine is purple harmony tall. Mainly because of the concept. When i sleep on a normal latex pillow it retains a bit of heat, vs if i use the grid pillowcase on that same pillow it adds a bit of loft and cooling. It took me a bit to get used to the grid feel, but now i find it interesting and pleasant to lay on. I also always find a way to get the same result for cheaper. For example the cores lose their support over time well all you need to do is replace it with a soft 6" core, i use the full pillow from sterns and foster that i find on eBay for $45 to replace the insert and it’s perfect. If i want it to hold up a little more i leave the cover on it then put it in the purple pillowcase. Or if i want it to sink more i take the original cover off.
If you’re ever nearby a purple outlet, the last time we visited one they had a whole basket full of “used” ones for $50 each.
