I am finding it really hard to find a quality featherbed. The DEWOOLFSON seems to be the only one close I can find and they removed the option to buy their more supportive feather bed and now only sell the 50% feather 50% down version online and it is 1k for a king and likely will flatten out with only 50% feathers.
I found what seemed like the perfection 75% white goose feather 25% white goose down option at Down & Feather Co, but it is out of stock and when I asked they said it will not be in stock any time soon.
I am looking for a 2" or 3" featherbed that is 75% or 80% white goose feather with 25% or 20% white goose down to add as a topper to a 12" hybrid innerspring latex mattress for my wife and I that are side sleepers and low bmi.
I have checked so many places but cannot seem to find this.
Hi! I responded on your other thread, but wanted to also respond here.
I think this Naturepedic topper might fit the bill for you. A fitted sheet on top is fine, as long as the pockets are at least 15" to fit everything under with a 12" mattress and a 2.5-3 inch topper). Keep in mind - the tighter the sheet, the less ‘give’ there will be in the topper as well.
Never had this much trouble trying to find a product before. It seems no one makes these anymore. Even using all the search engine tricks and AI search the only one I can find is the one out of stock at Down & Feather Co.
Maybe this mix is not the right mix? For side sleepers it seems the best mix is this 75% feather to 25% down + or - about 5%. And White goose feather is superior to duck. I found a few duck options, a few made in china options, a few 90% duck feather and 10% duck down.
Oddly enough the Dewoolfson email support claims they sell no featherbed that they ship that even their 50/50 I linked above is in store only.
Looks like a missed business opportunity to not sell this. Still looking.
Cuddledown makes some great products. I have ordered from them and they may be able to create the exact combination you would like, but I thought this one came really close. Best of luck to you.

I happen to have a 3" organic wool mattress topper. It was made by Natural
Felt, which is now Oregon Natural Fiber Mill. While it is excellent and a great quality product, it does require maintenance. Like many natural fiber mattresses, if body impressions spook you, then a hand stuffed and tufted wool topper may not be for you.
Other wool, wool/latex, wool/horsehair, and other wool combinations, like a vispring, millbrook, and hastens topper, where the tufting and stuffing is tight like a drum will offer nice support without the body impressions.
After every sheet change, each week, I really have to shake, fluff, flip, and rotate my topper, otherwise it makes the bed look like it has depressions that you would think would throwing your back out of alignment, but in reality that is not the case, but it sure looks that way. When I remove the the layers down to the mattress, I can put a yardstick across it and there is no trace of any dips, sags, impressions or depressions at all.
