Final Advice Before Purchase?

After trying many(!) mattresses over the last several months, we’ve finally whittled it down from three to two.

We’re torn between the last two and I figured I would check here to see if anyone had any thoughts/experience with either, before we make our selection.

If you’re curious, the last mattress we ruled out was the Gardner Mattress Comfort Support 2” Latex (it felt just a touch too firm and their 3” Latex was a little too soft, when compared to our two finalists, which was disappointing, because we loved the company).

If it helps, we’re both 5’8” and 145-165lbs, both combination sleepers (equally between back, stomach and side) and she sleeps hot. We’re looking for a full-size mattress under $1,700 (including taxes/delivery/removal) that offers as much support as possible, but also just comfortable enough to accommodate side sleeping.

Any opinions on these two:

If I were you, I would go with the first one: Mattress Maker of New England Luna 480.

They are your local manufacturer, who is willing to fix the comfort of your mattress by opening up your mattress and replace comfort materials.

Thanks, megatonoleo! That does appear to be the major plus.

Hey cjay22.

I’m going to throw my vote in with megatonoleo’s. The local component is a big plus, but also their overall configuration is slightly more durable and, in the long run, I think that’ll be something you appreciate.
