Flame retardant usage in mattresses in 2012

Hello,

I have a full mattress that was purchased at Costco for about $250 in 2012. It is a Sealy brand Backsaver. Given the regulations in place at that time, can I ask the likelihood that the mattress contains chemical flame retardants? I know the regulations in California changed in 2015 and I thought that that change applied to mattresses as well. Thank you for any insights! Warmly, Angela

Sealy would have been using a non-toxic fiber FR barrier at that time. I personally would have no concerns about what they use to pass 16 CFR part 1633.
