Hello again. I have been non-stop researching mattresses and haven’t really gotten much of anywhere honestly.
Right now, I am primarily considering Flexus Factory Select or Dual Comfort vs SleepEZ Hybrid or Roma. The Flexus Hybrid costs about the same as the SleepEZ but doesn’t offer the same versatility or value so it’s out.
The Flexus Factory Select is sold for children and young adults but it doesn’t seem to be anything special to not hold up. It’s a 6" medium Dunlop core with an organic cotton and wool cover. 7" total height. If I got this($390), I’d need a topper I believe. I am 180lbs so I feel like a 7" mattress is too short. It’s enough under my budget to easily get a topper and then just use a fitted sheet to “attach” it.
The Dual Comfort(I think it’s called) and Roma are identical it seems. 9" total, 6" latex and 1.5"x2 quilted toppers. Flippable, medium and firm. Around $480 and $525 respectively. About the same cost as Factory Select after a 2-3" Latex topper.
Then the SleepEZ Hybrid is 8" L&P coils with 3" Soft Dunlop and 2" Medium Dunlop on different sides to once again make a flippable mattress. This is around $615. This seems the most complete overall, at 14" with 5" of Latex. It also sounds the most durable to me but I am unsure.
I am 180lb, 5’10", hybrid stomach and slide sleeper. I have a terrible innerspring now, and I know I like the feel of Dunlop Latex. I am unable to go test mattresses currently.
Edit: I have changed my mind. I am going with a SleepOnLatex 9" Medium. Their customer service has been second to none and they have a fantastic warranty(1") and return policy. I’m ready to be done shopping!
