Foam Mattress vacuum packed for too long?

I bought the 12 in 1 dream foam bedding mattress but will not be able to open it for a few more days, It was ordered about two weeks ago so will end up sitting in the packaging for a little less than three weeks.

Is my mattress likely to be messed up due to me not opening it immediately? I have done some research on this topic but there are very mixed opinions, everything from some people having mattress not decompress fully to some saying its fine to store them for a month. Further, some people say vacuum packing is a bad idea and always does damage to a mattress.

Did I screw up my mattress by letting it sit unopened?

No … you should be fine.

I wouldn’t start to worry until it was compressed for a month or longer (although less is always better). You could also call them to confirm that everything will be fine since they will know more about the materials they use than anyone else but I really don’t think it will be an issue at all.
