I’ve seen mention in older posts of FSF being a trusted member and being part of the experts program but I no longer see them listed in the Ask an Expert section. Are they still recommended by this body?

Foam Sweet Foam (FSF) is recommended and a valuable Trusted Members of this site which means that I think very highly of them and that I believe they compete well with the best in the industry. FSF moved its HQ to Riverside, California a couple of years ago, and now to Eastvale, CA to an upgraded manufacturing facility. They do not have a showroom to try their mattress, but their Urban Green mattress is highly customizable and has a zipper around the cover perimeter which makes it particularly suitable for online purchasing, as sleepers can switch layers around and fine-tune the mattress feel.
You are quite observant! In addition to Foam Sweet Foam being a Trusted Member of the site, they used to be on the Ask an Expert panel as well, under Heidi expertise, the owner’s daughter. Heidi grew up in the mattress business and is very passionate about making sure that the mattresses FSF sells are a good fit for any particular customer. TMU was an excellent venue for their expertise but as with many things in a business, time is at a premium, and with the HQ and manufacturing location move, baby coming into the family, and other factors weighed into the decision to withdraw from assisting consumers on TMU as an expert.
