Hello all,
I was hoping to try a risk-free mattress that’s firmer than the medium-Novosbed, and came across Formeflex. Their 100-day no-risk policy is what I’m looking for, but I can’t find any 3rd party information or reviews about them anywhere (other than a consumer complaint that they weren’t forthcoming enough about the memory foam in the mattress)
They’ve been around since 2016. Is there a chance they are a scam, or go bankrupt? Has anyone heard of them or tried them?

Formeflex hasn’t been mentioned before here on the forum.
It is a mattress using a polyform core with 2" of latex on top. Specifically:
2" 26 ILD Talalay latex
2" 1.8 lb polyfoam
Lumbar insert (unknown material)
6" 1.8 lb polyfoam support core
They claim their latex to be organic certified, but there is no GOLS certified Talalay, and there are also photos of Dunlop latex on their site, so I’m not quite sure of the accuracy of the information they provide. They write quite a bit about their bio foam, which is simply their polyfoam having a portion of their polyols replaced by a plant-based polyol, which is quite ubiquitous in the polyfoam industry these days. In post #2 here I describe in more detail the use plant based polyols in polyfoam.
The address for their company and their web site is registered to a small mattress store in Ontario and a person called Alex Yakim. The mattress ships compressed, but I do not know where it is assembled.
You mentioned you were comparing to a Novosbed, but this is a mattress using latex on top, not memory foam, so these items would be in different categories of materials and comfort.
I can’t predict about the financial status of a company, but I’d have concerns with the inconsistencies of the description of their product on their web site (which you’d want to confirm), along with the item being in a bit of a higher price point for the materials it offers, so you’d want to make some careful personal value choices and evaluations if considering this item.
