Found a mattress and realize what is necessary in latex but it is in san diego and how do we get it to canada? They do not ship to canada.

This is so simple and makes sense . Why can no online company offer two layers in this ILD .
All latex offered is always in a range of ILD’s, perhaps as low as just 4 ILD’s, but keep in mind that a 36 ILD probably means something like 36-40. When you say two layers, do you mean a split core, so two 3" layers? Because I happen to intimately know a company that does offer that.
Have you considered shipping to a US address and then driving down to get the packages. There are many companies who offer this service. Ship to the Border is the first one that comes up on a Google search.
If you live near the Canada-U.S. border, you can have your items shipped to a pick-up location in the U.S. near the border where you live and pick it up from there. This article talks about that a bit. There are also many shipping companies with locations like this in the U.S. who will accept your package and then ship it across the border into Canada for you as well.
Regarding ILDs, these will be ranges and are not exact numbers. Latex will have a variance across the surface of the 6" core that is tested so in one place it may be say 24 ILD and in another part of the core it may be 22 or 26. The ILD rating is usually an average of the range across the surface. Blended talalay has less variance (=/-2 or so) than Dunlop latex.
