Hi! I’m looking for some help choosing a king-size mattress for our guest room. I’d like something high quality, comfortable for a wide range of guests, and durable. Mattress will probably only be used a few weeks each year but I still want my guests to be comfortable. I also need this by August 21! On a time crunch. Please help! Located on east coast.

Well, I talk about this bed a lot here probably to the point of annoyance but the nest and wild hybrid is only $1170 for a king size, has a cooling cover and the foams used are pre treated for durability. He also includes a 15 year warranty. Shipping time is very fast, 3-5 days.
Look at @DLX, @Glacier, @EngineeredSleep and their classic hybrid, most of the latex providers here at TMU. Most can turn it around in less than 10 days. The DLX Classic Hybrid is a great universal choice as is the GlacierSleep Apex. For the widest range of folks go with the medium.

Our Classic Flippable Mattress is an old-school design that’s flippable and works well for a lot of people. It’s not as plush as a modern hybrid, but it’s built to last.
We make each mattress to order and don’t pull them off a shelf, so our lead times can vary. Once shipped, delivery to most places on the East Coast is about two business days. The exceptions are Florida south of Jacksonville and Tallahassee, which is typically three days, and northern Maine, north of Augusta.
If you order by Sunday night and email us to let us know you need it by the 21st, we can make that happen and would like to target 2-3 days earlier than the needed date. We ship via FedEx, and while they do a pretty good job at about 89% on time, delivery dates aren’t guaranteed.
So, if possible, we like to build in a little padding and shoot for delivery a few days earlier in case there’s a delay.
The only thing that could really throw things off is if FedEx loses or damages the mattress in transit. In that case, we likely wouldn’t be able to hit the date. But that’s a risk when purchasing from anyone online who ships via FedEx or UPS. For us, it happens less than 0.2% of the time (1 out of 500).
For others reading this as a future reference, if you have a particular date you need a mattress by, email us with the mattress you’re considering, the date you need it, and your ZIP code. We can let you know what’s realistic, and sometimes we’re able to expedite orders through production.
And as a reminder, a mattress is only as good as the support underneath it. No matter how well a mattress is built, if it isn’t properly supported, it won’t last as long. That applies regardless of which mattress you purchase.

I saw the DLX plug and comment on this thread when searching for a guest bed I could get quickly, with a last- minute guest arriving on short notice.
I ordered the Classic Two Sided Mattress in medium.
I’m happy to report the DLX mattress arrived in time and it’s even nicer than I expected. The customer service also cannot be beat. I asked for help in picking a suitable mattress and follow up questions on the best base. I received very quick and thorough responses, and great communication throughout.
I’m very pleased with the buying process and product.
