Found this forum because I thought I was crazy that I could smell an odor too me that does not smell like vanilla at all but more like rubber tires from TSC! We bought our expensive Talalay mattress over 2 yrs ago and I have changed mattress pads, added and replaced them and now I have two on the mattress and I can still smell the rubber odor!! I feel like it constantly smells in my bedding! It’s driving me crazy! What can I do!? I do not like chemical sprays and read baking soda is bad for the mattress?!

Sorry to hear the offgassing is getting to you. Generally it has dissipated by this point, though. How much air flow do you get in your room?
Are you smelling it through the mattress pads?

Hello! Thank you. We have great airflow, 2 fans 3 windows, new house! I’ve been replacing linens constantly thinking it was the linens we keep getting! I’m so surprised that it still smells after this long!
