HELP! Did I just buy the wrong latex mattress? **Pic**

Hi all!

I read this forum before purchasing my GREEN SLEEP PURE COMFORT 8in - medium-firm 97% natural latex from Matelas Bonheur. It was hard to find a mattress that was all latex, certified, dunlop and not too firm for my boyfriend’s tastes… I like the mattress, I am comfortable, but I recently saw images of what perfect body alignment should look like, and it doesn’t match.

I attached two photos. Basically, my shoulder does not sink in, and so it’s not a straight line.

In general I don’t like soft mattresses because it hurts my lower back, and I don’t like sinking in the mattress, but did I make the wrong pick? I have been losing sleep over it, because that mattress was not cheap! :frowning: :frowning:

Hi Audream,

These are idealized images that are meant to represent an idea or concept … but not how people really sleep in “real life”. Nobody sleeps with their spine as “ruler straight” as the images you attached…

If you are sleeping well and waking up rested and refreshed in the morning without any symptoms of pain or discomfort then that’s what is always most important.
