HELP! From Europe, lost with US market, what am I not considering yet to make best choice?

Hi Bridzid,

Oh boy! It seems like you have been put through the ringer. I am so sorry you have to deal with this type of service which gives the good guys a bad name.

Since you mentioned San Francisco, I am going to skip over the mattress lesson regarding the types of fabrics, foams and the rest and have you visit one of our Trusted Members in the area. If you read through this thread, another fellow subscriber met with great success at ESW. They are local in Berkeley, a Trusted Member, so you know they have been scrutinized for transparency and quality of work and customer service.

They offer a variety of mattresses, particularly those with quality talalay latex which will offer you the type of subtle, but not swallowing, light sinking, but plush feel you prefer, with the pressure relief you need and want while supporting your husband’s larger frame.

While Aireloom is regarded as a decent quality mattress, they do tend to run on the firmer side, which is suitable for many, but not all, and my usual objection is their foam encased coil edge support. Not a big fan, this video will speak to that. If you are an edge of the bed sleeper, like me, this could be one of a few reasons why this mattress may not have caused you to give it glowing reviews.

In any case, give the folks European Sleep Works a shout and I am sure they can help you meet three of the more important issues when buying a mattress, Personal Preferences, Pressure Relief and Posture and Alignment. Lets make this the first step to success.
