Hi,
I am looking into buying a latex hybrid either from Avocado Green or Silk & Snow Organic.
My question is: Are softer latex layers more prone to sagging over time?
For example Avocado uses Dunlop ILD 14-19 for all their latex layers vs Silk & Snow’s ILD 18-22. is it safe to assume Silk and Snow’s will be slighty more durable?

Latex as a rule is quite durable. However, softer latex may show signs of wear over time more noticeably than firmer latex. This is because softer latex has less slightly structural support compared to firmer latex, making it a bit more susceptible to compression and body impressions.
The extent to which this may occur varies and depends on a few factors, such as density and quality of the latex, activities on the mattress, weight, whether or not you’re using a proper base, and overall mattress care.
This would really be a materials/quality comparison. Truth be told, both appear to use a high quality latex. Is the Silk & Snow also using Dunlop?

Yes the Silk & Snow does use certified Dunlop latex. When you mentioned latex quality, is there actual noticeable quality difference from one brand to another i.e. Avocado and Naturepedic? Or all GOLS certified dunlop latex are pretty much the same?
