Help please with Sleep number I10 twin king setup

This is about a 2014 vintage system with dual air tubes. I replaced our twin king mattresses with foam mattresses. I am able to still use the adjustable platform but only if I leave the inflator plugged in with the air tubes blocked. If I reset and configure the system without the inflator plugged in the system never becomes fully operational (not able to adjust head/foot)… Does anyone know if there is a way to remove the inflator for simplicity? I figured I might even be able to sell the inflator module to help offset the new mattress cost.

Hi kjames.

Welcome to our Mattress Forum.

I’m not totally familiar with the model of base/mattress you’re discussing here but I did some research and found this help article about how to disconnect the air hoses and how to replace the pump which I imagine you could just remove and not replace.

Do either of these speak to what you’re hoping to do?

It would be alot easier to help you if we had the actual model of SN mattress and adjustable platform. The newer versions are all integrated right into the adjustable section but back in 2014 that wasn’t usually the case.

Here’s an example of a manual from that era of mattresses:
