I was prepared to purchase a TempurPedic until I read it has Fiberglass

Is this true? After my husband and I needed very different sleeping environments, I sadly left our 20 year old Tempur Pedic. I needed an adjustable base due to a crushed pelvis and broken back that was not healing.

I went for two cheap bed in box memory foam beds. The first one caused me to cough constantly just at night and when I had X-rays done, found a spot on my lung. I learned there was fiberglass in the bed and sure enough, taking off the sheets and covers showed a glistening bed of tiny glass fragments poking out. Got rid of that and sure enough the spot on my lung and coughing went away.

I’m currently on BiB number 2. No fiberglass but just not comfortable enough. The fractures in my pelvis are non union so I have pain from them all the time. I thought I would go buy a TP to replace this but now I’m seeing things that make me question if that is the best choice for me.

@Back Science and @Tempflow intrigue me since they can be altered for comfort. I love soft, plush, warm, squishy tops but need a more firm underground to my spine health.

Anyone on here somewhat similar in their needs for a mattress?

Did a web search. No fiberglass in Tempurpedic.

Lines up with my personal experience with Tempur for 20 years. My mattress was inside a cover the whole time. I never saw fiberglass.

The lower back support with Back Science is simply heavenly. “Perfect spine support while lying on a soft cloud” That is my description.

The Hypergel comfort layer is simply phenomenal!
Perfect combination of plush and firm. A bit like Purple but with no sagging or hammocking.
