I would have never guessed how difficult getting a mattress can be...

I am so appreciative of the amazing information on this site. Was happy for years on an inner spring mattress that was nothing fancy, bought in a college town for cheap. Only replaced it because wanted a king sized. Snoozed happily on a Tempurpedic Allura (medium plush) for years, until I started to get back pain from it breaking down. I have tried Molecule 1, Molecule 2, Ghostbed Luxe…Not having much luck. I was happy with how much cooler the Molecule was compared to the Tempurpedic. Ghosted Luxe, started off ok and then after a few days of improving pain from sleeping, started to get worsening back pain. I am giving the mattresses at least 30 days for a fair try. I’m feeling like a zombie from lack of good sleep. I really want my next mattress to work for me. Normal BMI, was a back sleeper, but now sleeping on side a lot due to low back pain from the mattresses. Really intrigued with the Swiss Dream Beds. Does anyone have one? Would love to hear your experience. Thank you.

Hi “Sparkles”

Glad you came to TMU for help on your sleep journey.

I’m sorry to hear about your experience on the first few days. A new mattress can take some time to break in to your comforts. Since this post is a few months old. Hopefully you found something that works for your back pain to get you sleeping on your back again to feel comfortable with your idle personal sleep position for you.

Hi Brian,

I then tried the original Ghostbed thinking the Luxe was not supportive enough for me…that was not a good choice for me either. Felt a lot of pressure in the low back and hip area. Currently about 2 weeks into trying the Swiss Dream bed and really hoping that it will be the right mattress for me…I wish mattress selection was an exact science

Nice to see your staying positive on this sleep journey
