ILD's of the latex layers used in the original latex Brooklyn Bedding mattress?

I know Brooklyn Bedding used to be a latex mattress, but have since switched to TitanFlex foam.

I was wondering if anyone knew the old ILD ratings for the latex they used to use, so I could look into possibly constructing something similar by custom buying latex topper layers and putting them together.

I’ve read that their mattress used to be made of 2" of talalay, 2" of dunlop, and then 6" HD Polyfoam (I’m assuming 1.8lb and 36ILD)

does anyone know what the ILD’s of their talalay and dunlop layers used to be? also, if they offered different softness levels, and the differences in ILD’s for those?

Hi AJohnson,

The soft BME uses 2" of 30 ILD synthetic Dunlop latex under 2" of 19 ILD blended Talalay latex, with both of these layers on top of a 6" 2 lb polyfoam core around a 32 ILD. The Medium BME uses the same polyfoam core, but the 2" of Dunlop latex is 32 ILD and the 2" of Talalay latex on top is 28 ILD. The firm BME uses 2" of the 34 ILD Dunlop on top of which is 32 ILD Talalay.
