Our latex mattress has arrived today. I inspected the layers and found that the holes aren’t super consistent through out. I hope you can see it on the images attached. The first layer has several rows of holes that are wider than the rest of the mattress. I understand this could make this area slightly softer. This is in the shoulder area, so hopefully it won’t affect the alignment much, but still, this wasn’t specified or desired. The holes are more consistent on the other side of the layer.

The second layers has an area where the holes where ‘scraped’ to the side. This area feels somewhat softer to the touch and it’s right in the middle.

The delivery people said all their latex mattresses have irregularities like this.
Are these hole differences something to worry about? Could this affect the spinal aliment? Or is this normal? This mattress is for my kid and I won’t be sleeping regularly on it.
