Hello! Just joined the Forum—although I have been searching the heck out it to educate myself on a DYI all latex mattress. I will share my experiences of my do’s and don’ts once I have nailed what I’m searching for. In the meantime, I do have a question regarding an ILD 24 of Talalay. Is this a special order item? Reason being, I’ve been searching recommend online stores and have not seen that specific ILD. I have a 20 ILD, and 28 ILD talalay toppers, but I’m looking for that elusive in-betweener.

@Spoonman - Talalay Global shows 24ILD as an available firmness, but many retailers typically stock 19, 28, and 36ILDs as their soft, medium, and firm options. I would suggest contacting the retailer to inquire about availability of 24ILD, don’t assume they can’t get it even if they may not list it on their site.

I just got a 2" 24ild talalay topper from luma sleep. It has a beautiful tencel zippered cover. They consider this their plush. I also just got a 50k super soft (14-19 ild) 100% natural 2" topper from vita talalay/ radium & you can really feel the difference in softness! If you do the research you can definitely find 24ild, i just returned a 24ild 3" 100% natural talalay living topper from talalay global. I personally prefer N1 to N2 in comfort layer or N4 if we’re talking vita talalay.
