Any thoughts or reviews on the Isoform Deluxe Mattress, sold here?
Hi wh200,
At one point I had some “concerns” about them (as you can see in post #2 here) but they have since made some positive changes which also changes my thoughts and assessment of them. You can read a little more about their materials on the Bergad site (Bergad is the foam manufacturer which they also own).
They are now disclosing the quality/density of their foams (at least on the model you linked and I would hope they would do the same for their mattresses that don’t include foam density information on their website information) and they have made efforts to test their foams for safety (and I have other information which also validates this) which removes this as a concern as well even though they aren’t CertiPur certified (I have little doubt that they would pass the CertiPur certification easily). They also use MDI rather than the more typical TDI to make their foam (both MDI and TDI is an isocyanate which one of the two main chemicals used to make polyfoam and memory foam) and MDI is more typical of many European foams and can produce a very high quality and “safer” foam which is also a factor in their favor.
Overall … the quality of the materials in the mattress you linked is good and also has good value IMO. My only concern would be their return policy if you make the wrong comfort choice because shipping a mattress back that isn’t compressed can’t be done with a courier and requires truck freight which can be a costly proposition and it appears you would be responsible for the full cost of return shipping if you make the wrong comfort choice.

Thanks, Phoenix!!
