Just Ordered a King Cool Luxe from Brooklyn Bedding

I was on the fence about buying the 13" ultimate dreams gel mattress from Dreamfoam but decided on going directly with Brooklyn Bedding because I really wanted the 120 day trial period. My wife and I have never slept on a foam mattress before and we really liked the Cloud Luxe at the local mattress store. I will also be getting an L&P S-Cape to go with it at a deep discount. My local Sleep Experts said they would do a 150% price match and Dynasty mattress has the king s-cape for 1949, which means I will be paying 1750 shipped including setup and removal of my old mattress.

I ended up getting the L&P from Sleep Experts for $1700 + tax ($1850 total) which is more than reasonable since they are including delivery, setup and removal of my old mattress and box springs… and I am on the second floor of a house. They didn’t do a 150% price match, but I wasn’t really expecting them to since they aren’t obligated to do any type of price matching on just a frame without a mattress. You can buy the same frame online for about $1850 but it will just be curbside delivery. So I am still happy with the price I got. The frame will be delivered tomorrow and I just got a fed ex e-mail about the BB mattress which should be arriving Thursday, possibly Friday. So the wife and I will probably have to sleep on the futon or a spare air mattress for a day or two. I can’t wait. My back is killing me!

The price you paid certainly sounds very reasonable to me … especially if they are setting it up and removing your old mattress and boxspring.

By the time you’ve slept on the futon or airbed for a day or two I think you’ll be more than ready to sleep on your new mattress :slight_smile:

Turns out we won’t have our bed from BB until Monday, so we’ll be sleeping on a Queen sized air bed for 5 days. The first night was pretty torturous, but at least it works with the adjustable bases :wink:
