Latex fir Less vs Sleep on Latex

Does anyone have an opinion of Latex for less two sided mattress? I’m trying to decide between that one and the natural latex mattress on sleep on latex. Currently have king size Sealy Springfree Brasswood Firm with a 3 inch Talalay topper on it which is very comfortable but I need to downsize the bed size due to a move. Thank you

Hi BFW,

Thank you for your question and welcome to the Mattress UnderGround.

When reviewing the Latex for Less website, they do claim their latex is all natural 100% dunlop latex from Sri Lanka.

When considering the two, here is a basic comparison.

  • Latex for Less offers a two-sided design, which is great for durability and maintaining the mattress over time without needing to rotate it regularly. Keep in mind that the L4L offers 2 different firmness levels, depending on which side you flip to. Regardless, of if they tell you the possibility of minimal rotation, rotating every 3 months is certainly ideal to maintain even wear.

  • Sleep On Latex offers 100% organic Dunlop latex but uses a one-sided design, so you’ll need to rotate it regularly to ensure even wear.

  • Both brands use natural Dunlop latex, but Sleep On Latex specifically emphasizes the “organic” aspect, which may appeal to those looking for certified organic materials.

The bottom line:

Now that both mattresses use 100% natural Dunlop latex, the primary differences come down to the two-sided vs. one-sided design and the slight difference in price. Latex for Less is generally more affordable, while Sleep On Latex offers organic certification but with a slightly higher price tag.

Another option to consider is @Latex_Mattress_Fact1 and @Arizona_Premium. Both of these Trusted Member manufacturers offer mattresses with zippered covers, allowing you to easily swap out a layer if your preferences change or if the mattress doesn’t meet your expectations. This feature provides flexibility to adjust the comfort level. However, each manufacturer may have different policies regarding layer swaps during the trial period, including whether any changes are complimentary, so it’s important to review their policies before making a final decision.

Hopefully this helps you in pursuit of your new mattress.
