I think I have narrowed down my mattress hunt of a latex hybrid to either the Arizona Premium Ultimate Hybrid or Engineered Sleep ES Duo the price point. The recommendation from each of them for a me (a 64 year old female, 205 lb side sleeper) was med talaley latex on top for the Arizona Premium and a medium natural dunlop for the Engineered Sleep. the coiled base is basically the same but the Arizona comes standard with the reinforces lumbar support that I won’t need being a side sleeper and it may prove a comfort problem. Does anyone have a preference or a suggestion for me?
Hi cinmich.
It’s hard for any one person to determine another’s preferences. I don’t believe the extra support in the lumbar would present much of an issue for your in terms of comfort, but if you’re unsure, it’s best to stick with your gut.
Have you previously slept on a zoned mattress that felt uncomfortable for you? If so, that’s an important data point to consider.
