So this probably doesn’t exist but here goes:
I think the 3" Talalay medium topper from LMF would make a decent pillow (obviously pillow shaped/sized just that feel). Shredded latex, down, or feather or anything not whole is just not my cup of tea but a solid low profile Talalay pillow, might be the ticket. Side sleeper hence the low profile, any suggestions?
Hi Kea12312,
Thank you for your questions. I’ll start with the easiest one. For a solid Talalay medium feel pillow that is not shredded but made from solid Talalay latex, @CST offers some great optiona. You can view their pillow page here. Since LMF uses a 28 ILD for their medium Talalay toppers, you might want to discuss with Bob @CST to ensure that this will be the ideal firmness for your pillow.
Pillows are designed to support your head, neck, and shoulders from digging into the mattress, which can cause shoulder pain, (for side sleepers) and keep alignment in tact with the rest of the body
Often, trying to match the firmness of your comfort layer or topper (meant to support the distribution of your entire body’s weight and translate that to the pillow might result in a firmer latex that may not be as suitable for your head and neck.
However, @CST is quite adept at customizing Talalay pillows to fit individual preferences.
For your other questions, which require a more detailed examination of their solutions, I’ll provide a response later tonight unless another expert provides input sooner.
Maverick
Hi Kea12312,
Our Healthy Choice division has a solid, low-profile Talalay pillow. It is quite popular with our customers and is on sale now.
Apologies for the picture - not the greatest, but the only one we have right now.
