Latex Topper

Hi,
I ordered a natural Talalay 2 inch queen topper from a DIY factory. It does not have a cover. I unpacked it very carefully and found there are several tears in the topper ranging from 2 inches to 4 inches. I added couple pics of the tears.
When I contacted the factory they said it is normal to have these tears. The topper also has some dirt marks which the company said are normal.
I have no idea if this is to be expected as their web page is void of such information. I would appreciate any information on this topic.
Sincerely,
Rob

Hi Rob and thanks for reaching out on this! Yes, that is totally normal. Although sometimes people will order a layer and it looks near perfect, most of the time that is absolutely not the case with latex. I’ve included the links to a few reputable websites that include pictures and descriptions of the things you can expect with latex, I hope this helps! Also, just FYI, most of the time when questions are asked in the Latex Mattress Factory experts section of the forum, it’s normally just us that responds, but hopefully you’ll get some responses from individual members. If you don’t get any responses here, I’d recommend searching the forums for latex defects to see what other people have dealt with in the past.
