Hi everyone. Recently I was given a mattress. I feel like it is much better than my Tempurpedic, so I have been using it instead. I have searched everywhere online and I cannot find this mattress though. Stitched onto the mattress it says “Linen”, it has a silver rope going around the outer edge of the mattress, and it is 14" this with three layers of foam inside. The closest thing I could find was the brand HG Linen, but this does not look the same and they don’t carry a 14" thick model. Anyone have any idea what this is? By the way, it says made in the USA. Thanks for any help identifying it!
Hi quentinludwig, if it was a friend who gave you the mattress is there any chance you could ask them if they remember, or remember where they bought it? Possibly how long ago? Usually there’s a mattress tag on them somewhere, is that where it says “Linen”? Unless the tag got removed. I think it might be hard to identify without more information and the cover may not be too useful. You mentioned a rope around the outer edge, whether it’s a design on the fabric or a sort of thick rolled edging along a seam that looks like rope. Many companies switch up their mattress models and covers seem to come and go even on similar models, always changing. Since models change frequently, I wonder if it’s possible that it’s an HG Linen brand like you suspect but an older 14" model that they may no longer make depending how long ago the person who gave the mattress to you purchased it.
Hi quentiinludwig,
Your mattress should have a mattress tag on it that identifies the manufacturer (unless it has been removed).
My first guess would also have been one of the Decourcy & Company mattresses (they are now out of business) but as you mentioned their HG Linen line and their Hevea Collection (see the wayback machine here) doesn’t have any 14" mattresses.
It could also be a Magniflex mattress (see here) but the thickest of their mattresses I could see that used a linen cover was 12".
It sounds like the “linen” is just stiched into the mattress cover so outside of the law tag it would be very difficult to guess who made it without more information. Perhaps if you attach a picture it may help someone recognize it.

Unfortunately I can’t ask the person who gave it to me. I work at a moving company and it was a customer who said it would not fit into his new place (King size). I would not normally take a used mattress but it looked nearly brand new. Anyways, the only tag I could find doesn’t give too much info.
Mfg. date: 03/25/10
MAterial 2241014

LMATT FRCOVBX
Lot Number 119123
Then there is the other tag that says Made in the USA. I’ll get a pic of it posted up later today. Thanks for all the input!
Hi quentinludwig,
You’re right that the information you listed doesn’t help to identify the manufacturer.
Hopefully the other tag has more information or a picture of the mattress will help someone recognize it.

Hopefully these image links work.
If not, here’s links to pics of the mattress.
Hi quentinludwig,
The image tags are for linking an attached image to a URL (they don’t make an image in a URL show up in the post) so I deleted the extra links.
You can make them show up in the post by adding them as an attachment rather than linking to them.
I don’t recognize the mattress but if I come across something that looks like it in my travels I’ll certainly let you know.

Well thanks for taking a look! Yeah I haven’t heard of them either, which is why I came to you guys here. Anyway, it’s a very comfortable mattress and it puts my old Tempurpedic to shame! Not that Tempurpedic is bad…I loved that mattress until I got this one. ![]()
