Looking for help with my bed.. running out of ideas

My Original post: Begging for help. Just can't get it right! - #4 by Lauffer

The vendor has not been responding back to me, so I am hoping for some guidance. The mattress I have is a hybrid from Beloit mattress company. I believe the latex on top is 14ILD. I tried 3 different configurations of theirs and just cannot get it right. This is getting expensive. Lately I have not been that comfortable on it. My hips sometimes go numb and I toss and turn all night. I tried a 3in topper from Costco and that was awful. I then tried a latex 2in from SOL that felt a bit better, but I was apparently allergic to something in it. Now I am back to just on the bed. Now I have been reading about wool. Would that be a good option for me? I am about 170lbs with wide shoulders and a side sleeper. we

Hey djdanko1,

Sorry to hear your mattress configurations aren’t giving you the comfort you’re looking for. You mentioned you tried 3 different configurations. Could you describe a little more what each configuration was like and what pain points you had?

What’s your current set up? Numb hips can be a sign of a mattress that’s too soft OR alternatively, too firm. Either way, whether it’s a pressure point or misalignment causing it, it’s uncomfortable! Is this issue new to your current bed?

I think this depends greatly on whether you’re dealing with a too-soft-bed or a too-firm-bed.
