Hi there, I’m seeking a new mattress from a local manufacturer in the greater Los Angeles area.
I’m considering a double-sided, flippable mattress as I have read that it can help ensure the mattress has a longer life. Ideally, the mattress will be firm (both my partner and I are heavier 225lb folks, I’m a back sleeper with chronic pain and they are a side sleeper).
I had been looking at the Saatva mattress, but after reading this forum, it makes more sense to find something higher quality and hopefully save some money too!
I’m hoping to find something for under $1,500 and am looking for a durable firm mattress made of high-quality materials. I have a latex mattress topper that I can use on the mattress to add a little more softness.
