Looking for recs for a low profile innerspring/hybrid mattress that can be used with an adjustable base

My mom sleeps in a hospital bed and had loads of joint pain. She’s been on an inflatable hospital mattress for almost a year and doesn’t need to be on one since she only sleeps in the bed the same amount of time as a normal person. Want to upgrade her to a new mattress and any of the memory foam is going to be too soft because she has mobility issues (can’t have her sinking in). Would love suggestions! Needs to be 10 inches hard stop MAX. Hers right now is 8 inches and the bed can’t go any lower. I think she might have issues with 10 inches, but I’m willing to try.

Hi @Leo2222 - I think our Classic Hybrid 8" Simple-Firm would be a good fit and hits that 8" height for you.

It is a very simple, firm mattress made with a 6" Texas Pocket Spring and .75" of foam on each side (it is flippable).

Let me know if you have any questions I can help with!

I would suggest our Majestic Hybrid mattress. It features:

  • A 0.75" 1.5-pound density, 65 ILD base foam

  • A 6" 875-coil Marshal-type spring system with 2 rows of firmer coils on each side

  • A needle-punched poly/cotton blend insulator pad

  • A 1" tall nano-coil system with 3 rows of firmer coils along the perimeter

  • A 1" layer of 4-pound density gel-infused memory foam

I’ll include a link to the mattress description below:
(Basics Majestic Hybrid Mattress | Affordable Comfort for RVs)

This design should provide enough comfort to cushion sore joints while offering sufficient support to make movement easier.

Thank you for considering The Beloit Mattress Company!
