Looking for similar mattress

hello. I’m hoping this is the right place to post my question. I do apologize if I am lost.

anyway, I grew up only sleeping on one mattress. and it sucked.

finally when I moved out I bought this Amazon.com but in twin XL and it was the best mattress I’ve ever slept on, unfortunately my roommate situation didn’t work out as planned and I had to move again and left it behind. I found something I thought was similar but not quite the same and I have another opportunity to shop for a mattress and I was wondering if you know why this product would be no longer available or if the company changed names or what happened. if I could get a product that is made with the same stuff/same way then I would be a very happy sleeper.

thank you in advance

Hey nightstand,

Welcome to the Mattress Underground and thanks for your question  !

You may have noticed that your question was moved into the general mattress forum questions area, as your interest is in a memory foam mattress and Arizona Premium’s specialty is latex foam. Now, back to your question…

Same here nightstand, lol! My one twin-sized childhood mattress was super-basic and virtually non-existent by the time I finally moved out. Sorry to hear that you roommate situation didn’t go as planned and that your beloved NuForm Twin XL was left behind. Hopefully, it still has a useful life and continues to sleep well for someone.

Thanks for sharing the link to your Amazon mattress purchase. After some Googling, I found that the NuForm Quilted Pillow Top 11" Plush Foam Mattress’s memory foam’s density is 1.5 lbs cu. ft., and that it has a dual convoluted TriZone support core, 38" W x 74" L x 11" D.

Congrats on your new mattress shopping journey  ! What mattress did you find that was similar? NuForm is a mattress company that resells product through a variety of online partners including Amazon, Wayfair, Martha Stewart, WalMart, etc. I did find your particular model of Short Twin XL-sized RV Plush Mattress listed on several of these sites, but to your point, with a “currently unavailable” status. NuForm, like many others in the industry, may simply suffer from supply chain disruptions and increased production time, but without a dedicated website or corporate profile online, it’s impossible to speculate on why product is unavailable. The costs of many mattress components are continually increasing too, forcing manufacturers to either find new sources for materials or rethink design of affected models. You may ask questions regarding a possible mattress recommendation from one of our TMU trusted members, these fine ones offer memory foam products:

Fox Mattress

Ghostbed

Magic Sleeper

Mattress To Go

MFC/ Memory Foam Comfort

Texas Mattress Makers

The Beloit Mattress Company

Hope this helps and good luck with your mattress shopping journey  .

Thanks,
Sensei
