I am trying to buy a new mattress that is organic or very low VOC and was un decisive between a all latex or a hybrid. I am 52 years old , i get sciatica pain at times, and I weigh 151 for my small 4 Ft 11 inches frame. I have read all the material here and i see that a mattress should have a suport layer and a comfort layer. I am looking at plush beds but I am open to any other mattress that meets my needs. I am a combination sleeper-- side(mostly) and my back. Please help with knowledge and suggestions. thanks. I currently sleep on a HOPE - My green mattress with a 2 inch latex topper that I have had for at least 6 yrs

Check out Winston’s in the UK. Received mine on June 9 in USA and have never been happier. It was a terrible time of trial and failure with three other mattresses. Long story how I learned of Winstons. Go to the website and get on the chat, which is a human NOT a bot. I would never have been able to sort out and pick what was appropriate for me without help, and I was not willing to take that big of a risk sight unseen coming from the UK, (although there is 100 night return policy with a “restocking fee”). Actually, the prior mattress I did trial in the store on repeated occasions and thought would be comfortable, but I was fooled when the actual mattress was delivered and set up. Yes, from the first night through the 90 day trial it was just terrible.I worked with “Aaron and Reese” at Winstons, and truthfully there were minor timeline delay snafus. But customer service was second to none. So helpful to have a no pressure experience and the mattress I got ( the Shropshire”) solved my back and shoulder pain. I am now trying to let others know because I too had practically given up, and was ready to spend a ridiculous amount of money just not to suffer on some high level Vispring or Haastens. Winstons has many different models, and yes I had to pay a tariff, but I don’t care because it was worth it and still less money than the locally made in the USA recommended mattress that I was happy to see go.
