First off Pheonix thank you so much for all the work you do on this website. You have helped me and my husband so much on our search for a new mattress. I have been reading articles and posts from you and others for weeks on our quest to find the right mattress for us. We were sleeping on a latex hybrid queen size bed from Dock One, that as you know has since gone out of business. After 3 years this bed had become uncomfortable and we were going to add a topper to help it out. After much thought we decided to go from a queen to a king size bed. We loved our dock one bed for the first two years and knew we wanted another latex bed, only a better made one.
We tried every latex bed we could find in our area, which was very limited. We decided on the Snowmass from Denver Mattress because we like to help our local economy whenever possible. We have had our new bed for 4 days and have slept like babies from the first night. The bed is a little on the firm side so while we were waiting for it to come in we ordered a 2 inch 4lb Serta memory foam topper for $70.00 from Overstock.com. On top of that we put on a Simmons mattress pad protector with a little cotton padding for $40.00 (that we also got from Overstock) to cool the memory foam. Topped that off with 600 thread count sheets from our local Sam’s Club, and we have the perfect bed for us. My husband said this is this first time in years that he has woke up without stiffness in is his back. He is 6’1" and weighs 210lb and I am 5’8" and weigh 150. We both love this bed and I feel like we made this best decision for us because of all the hard work you do.
