I have a euro Italian made low profile bed with curved wooden slates. I have a mattress on the slates now but I want to raise the bed to a regular height. I don’t think I can put a mattress on top of a mattress . Because of the curved wooden slates, I don’t think I can use a box spring??? Any suggestions would be appreciated
Is it possible to take a photo of the slat system that you have? Some bed frames the slats are removable and there would be an outer lip along the side rails as well as a centre rail with floor supports that could support a normal boxspring or a low profile base in that could work to raise the height of your mattress up.
