Mattress and Pillow Protection and Layering Advice

I’m trying to find the best protection setup for my new mattress and pillows. Prioritizing my setup to avoid a hot sleep and minimize dust mites.
I’m a hot sleeper and I’m allergic to a lot of things including dust mites.

I’m torn on if I should get:
The waterproof, 100% polyester bed bug proof Protect-A-Bed Allerzip encasements
The 4.8 micron 100% organic cotton bed bug proof encasements from BedCare

I will be moving to a different state in the near future and don’t know if my next environment will have bed bugs.

On top of that, are any other layers needed besides a fitted bed sheet? Would the configuration change if I chose one over the other?

My options right now are:
Mattress > Protect-A-Bed Allerzip Encasement > (Do I need another layer here?) > Linen fitted bed sheet
Pillow > Protect-A-Bed Allerzip Encasement > Linen pillow case
or
Mattress > BedCare encasement > (Do I need another layer here?) > Linen fitted bed sheets
Pillow > BedCare encasement > Linen pillow case

My new mattress has a 0.8" wool quilt encased in cotton so I don’t want to add too many layers that will affect the feel and breathability of the mattress.
I’ve seen Phoenix recommend a wool mattress pad to protect against bodily fluids and oils and such on top of mattress encasements.
I’m curious what you think my setup should be for my needs.
