Mattress Firm's Sleepy's Willow in Medium

Hi MU! I can’t find any info other than the sales website, for the Sleepy’s Willow mattress line. They have a firm, medium and plush varieties. On the site, it looks to be Sleepy’s newest venture into natural materials - using Dunlop latex, organic cotton, upcycled metal, and wool. But not much else, since it’s new-ish. No reviews from customers. Coil spring quality and craftsmanship. There is also something “crinkly” feeling inside the mattress when testing in the showroom… not sure what that is, but feels like something is inside under the organic cotton/tufted wool cover, like a fire barrier? Anyhow, just wanted to check here if anyone else has had any experience with this product line. Price looks about right, and overall the comfort and support seem about right for a latex hybrid.

Hi zeshef, and welcome back to the Forum after 5 years!

Remember, any mattress you decide on will be unique to you based on your Stars (height, BMI, sleeping position(s) & any underlying health conditions) and your PPP (Posture & alignment, Pressure relief, & Personal preferences). As latex is one of the most durable materials you can have in a mattress, any latex hybrid will have a defined level of durability - if you can match your comfort preferences.

The Sleepy’s Willow hybrid mattress is 10", with a stretch knot cover, a comfort layer of organic cotton, purloft wool, and Dunlop latex (the wool layer may be producing that ‘crinkly’ feel you mentioned; this is used for FR as well as moisture wicking & breathability). It looks like a relatively durable mattress and if you enjoy how it feels, you should have years of comfortable sleep.

You might also want to take a look at the offerings of the Trusted Members of the site, like SleepEZ has the Select Sleep Hybrid, and Latex Mattress Factorys’ Luxerion Hybrid, and also the Luma Original from Luma Sleep which are all at less cost than the Sleepy’s; a similar build of mattress - but of known quality and greater clarity on their components - and possibly a bit more customization to suit your body profile as well.

Any good latex mattress with good innersprings will provide a good durable sleep solution, you just need to ‘dial in’ the right comfort levels based on your Stats and PPP, you are on the right track!
